Who We Are

The MCCGC endeavours to respond appropriately to all community needs through the development of specific programs, services, networks and activities to facilitate and promote the wellbeing of the diverse communities living on the Gold Coast.
The MCCGC through its programs also attempts to prevent and eliminate any type of discrimination against CALDB people living on the Gold Coast. Diversity is our nation's strength.
Programs delivered by MCCGC
Community Action for a Multicultural Society (CAMS)
Supports community capacity building activities, group and systemic advocacy for the benefit of Gold Coast people from CALD backgrounds.
Multicultural Seniors Program (MSP)
Supports Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) seniors to participate in community life.
Home and Community Care Program (HACC)
Provides a comprehensive, coordinated & integrated range of basic maintenance and support services for frail aged people and younger people with a disability and their carers.
Multicultural Aged Recreation Centre (MARC)
Promotes social interaction & wellbeing from a centre based setting through designed, structured group activities. These activities will provide a break for primary carers or maintain community connections.
Community Aged Care Program (CACP)
Provides packages of coordinated services to assist people with complex care needs to remain in their own home.
Extended Aged Care At Home (EACH D)
Provides a flexible, holistic support package individually tailored to meet the needs of frail aged people with high level of care needs who live with dementia and choose to remain at home.
Community Partners Program (CPP)
Promotes and facilitates increased and sustained access by culturally and linguistically diverse communities with significant aged care needs to aged care support services.
