CÜRA is a branch of Multicultural Communities Council Gold Coast (MCCGC)
We help senior community members with in-home support, health & wellbeing services and social activities. We're committed to ensuring people from multicultural backgrounds have equal access to services that help them stay independent, active and connected in their communities. Many people revert to their first language later in life and we understand the difference it can make to receive care and support in your native tongue from someone who understands your culture.
Our services
We provide Home Care Packages and the Commonwealth Home Support Program through the Federal Department of Social Services and by the Queensland Government (Department of Communities, Child Safety and Disability Services.)
CÜRA provides 24 hour on call services 7 days a week, private home support and clinical services. Our goal is support you to remain in your home by building an individual care package based on your needs and preferences. Our range of services can assist you in all of these areas and can support you to continue doing the things you are most passionate.
Our name
CÜRA (pronounced COO-ra), is the Latin word for care. CÜRA facilitates MCCGC's vision for an inclusive community that values cultural diversity as well as access to and delivery of quality services customized to individual needs.
